Position Overview:
As a Data Engineering Data Architect at Spiro, you will play a crucial role in architecting and designing data engineering solutions for EV and charging infrastructure data. You will lead a team of data engineers in building scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks, collaborating with software and hardware teams to ensure data integration and quality. Your contributions will empower data-driven insights and operational excellence.

Reports To: [Direct Supervisor/Manager]
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design data engineering solutions for EV and charging infrastructure data.
- Lead a team of data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams for data integration and quality.
- Define data storage, transformation, and analysis strategies.
- Implement data governance and security measures.
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies and trends.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the data engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in designing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
- Familiarity with data modelling, warehousing, and database systems.
- Previous experience in leading data engineering teams is a plus.
- Spark certification for data engineering is required.
