Position Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer at Spiro, you will collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to build efficient data pipelines and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of data processing frameworks. Your work will focus on defining data storage, transformation, and analysis strategies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security measures.

Reports To: [Direct Supervisor/Manager]
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to build efficient data pipelines.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of data processing frameworks.
- Contribute to defining data storage, transformation, and analysis strategies.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security measures.
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in designing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
- Familiarity with data modelling, warehousing, and database systems.
- Previous experience in leading data engineering teams is a plus.
- Spark certification for data engineering is required.
