Position Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Spiro, you will collaborate with software and hardware teams to develop mapping functionalities, participate in the design, development, and integration of location-based technologies, and contribute to defining strategies for navigation, route optimization, and geolocation services. Your role will involve developing algorithms for efficient navigation and real-time traffic updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and user experience, and staying updated with emerging mapping technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to develop mapping functionalities.
- Participate in the design, development, and integration of location-based technologies.
- Contribute to defining strategies for navigation, route optimization, and geolocation services.
- Develop algorithms for efficient navigation and real-time traffic updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and user experience.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization activities.
- Stay updated with emerging mapping technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development of mapping solutions.
- Proficiency in mapping APIs, geolocation services, route optimization algorithms.
- Strong understanding of mapping data formats, coordinates systems, GIS principles.
- Experience with geospatial databases, data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with real-time traffic data, navigation services.
- Previous experience in leading software development teams is a plus.
